Winter Road Congress Seminar

Find out more fromhere. Registration to the seminar from here.  The international seminar will get together experts of road and street winter maintenance as well as professionals of transportation. The international seminar will be attended by experts from Northern European countries and Russia. The seminar will be held in both Finnish and English. In addition to these languages, the presentations will be interpreted simultaneously in Russian.

Exhibition

Alongside the seminar we have an exciting exhibition which features cutting edge products, machinery, methods, materials, services and also and other special expertise related to road and street maintenance. Look from here who is exhibiting.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the exhibition and around 100 organizations to exhibit.

Demonstrations

Practical outdoor demonstrations of machines, equipment and methods are the highlight of the event.  Demonstrations on Wednesday at 14.00  and Thursday at 11.00.

Seminar delegates social Programme

An integral part of the congress is also networking and meeting colleagues and partners.
Technical tour on Tuesday 6th of February at 15.00 pm to the Lahti Southern Ring Roads Big Room which is a working environment for the alliance project operators. Project Manager Janne Wikström from the Finnish Transport Agency, Business Development Manager Mikko Puttonen from Skanska, representing the Skanska-Pöyry Alliance consortium and Jukka Lindfors Transportation Planning Manager from the City of Lahti are hosting the event in the Big Room.
Reception by the City of Lahti on Tuesday evening at 19.00pm.
Get together  event is  held on Wednesday evening at 17.45pm in Congress exhibition hall.
